Ivan Barbashev

About

Veteran center that was initially taken as a second round pick in the 2014 NHL entry draft by the St. Louis Blues. While playing with St. Louis, he won a 2019 Stanley Cup. He was later acquired by the Vegas Golden Knights via trade in February of 2023. He's also played for the Russian men's national team during his professional career. 

Before Fame

Prior to his professional hockey career, he played junior hockey for HC MVD. He first discovered his passion for hockey at the age of three. 

Trivia

He won his very first NHL Stanley Cup with St. Louis after defeating the Boston Bruins with a score of 4-3 in game seven of the 2019 finals. Just four years later, he won his second NHL Stanley Cup while playing with Las Vegas after defeating the Florida Panthers in game five of the 2023 finals. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in Moscow, Russia. He now lives with his wife Ksenia and their family.
