Swedish wrestler who won three Olympic gold medals during competition at the 1932 Los Angeles and 1936 Berlin Olympics.
He competed in his first Olympics in 1932 where he won gold in the welterweight class for Greco-Roman wrestling and in the middleweight class for freestyle wrestling.
He moved up to middleweight for Greco-Roman wrestling in the 1936 Olympics and won gold in the event.
He is the son of Radek and Salosha Johansson.
He won gold at the 1936 Olympics where runner Jesse Owens took home four gold medals.
