Estonian politician, businessman, and art collector who served as Estonia's Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1992.
He worked as a mushroom farmer before establishing himself.
He is part-owner of the daily newspaper Eesti Päevaleht, and opened the Viinistu Art Museum in 2003
His family fled to Finland and Sweden in 1943 while Estonia was under Soviet control.
He was born in the same country as fellow politician Artur Sirk.
