Scottish goalkeeper best known for his years playing with Dundee FC and Aberdeen FC, winning the Scottish League Cup with Aberdeen in 2014. In May 2011, he famously suffered a brain seizure which nearly ended his career.
He was born in Paisley, Scotland and rose through the youth ranks of Dundee before making his senior debut with the club in 1996.
After recovering from his brain seizure, he donated his playing gloves to the charitable organization BareAll4BTs, which aims to assist those effected by brain tumors.
He married a woman named Louise, with whom he has children.
He has been teammates with striker David Goodwillie at Aberdeen.
