Though remembered best for his work with the symphonic metal group Versailles, this Japanese bassist also performed with the Hizaki Grace Project and participated in a rock opera called Node of Scherzo.
When he was nineteen years old, he established a band called Jakura and performed with the group under the stage name of Yuu. A decade later, he joined Versailles, a band that had been founded by guitar player Hizaki and singer Kamijo.
Versaille's first album, Noble, was released in 2008 and rose to #4 on Japan's Oricon Indie Music Chart.
A native of Japan's Aichi Prefecture, he later settled in Tokyo. Sadly, he died suddenly at the age of thirty.
He was a contemporary of fellow Japanese musician Ayumi Hamasaki.
