Expert in Chinese and Thai cuisine and the executive chef at Pakpao Thai and The Charleston. He has appeared on such Food Network programs as Cutthroat Kitchen, Chopped, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, and Iron Chef America.

Before Fame

He completed culinary training courses at both the California Sushi Academy and Le Cordon Bleu.

Trivia

He made numerous contributions to the NPR (National Public Radio) culinary program Good Food with Evan Kleiman and launched a Las Vegas-based dessert restaurant called Kuma Snow Cream.

Family Life

Raised in Los Angeles' Thai Town neighborhood, he learned classic Asian culinary traditions from his grandmother. He has a daughter named Amaya and a son named Renny with his wife Ali Tila.
