Portuguese actor who is known for his theatrical performances as well as his television roles. He is best recognized for his performances in productions of Hamlet and Portugal, Meu Remorso as well as the shows Paixao and Greater Love.
He attended the Institute of Training, Research, and Theater Creation where he graduated in 1989. He made his acting debut in the play D. Joao and the Mask of Antonio Patricio at the Polytechnic theater. He then went on to debut in television in 2002 when he starred as Tiago in the series The Lady of the Waters.
He is also known for having created several zines based around music and poetry including the publication Da...Frente which featured issues dedicated to Joy Division and the works of Samuel Beckett.
While he was born in Lisbon, he was raised in Guimaraes.
