Anglican priest who is best known for his service as the eighth Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane.
He studied at Durham University and received his ordination to the priesthood at the age of twenty-four.
He served as Vice-Principal of Scotland's Edinburgh Theological College.
He was born to a family living in the northeast London district of Goodmayes.
He and Clarendon Worrell were both Anglican religious leaders.
