Canadian civic politician who served on the Edmonton, Alberta Town Council from 1900-1902. He also served as Edmonton Chamber of Commerce President.
Early in his career, he sat on the Lethbridge City Council and also opened several local businesses.
He owned the first car in Edmonton, Alberta -- a Ford Model A.
He wed Margaret Drummond Jardin in 1895. The couple went on to have four children.
He and George Jackson, both born in the nineteenth century, were fellow Canadian politicians and businessmen.
