Indie-rock singer, guitarist, and keyboardist who is widely recognized as the charismatic front man, chief lyricist, and co-founder of the Nashville-based indie-soul rock band The Brook & The Bluff. To maintain the rigorous demands of relentless touring, he has spent over seven years personally driving the band's reliable 2017 Ford Transit 350XLT van to transport their heavy gear trailer across North America.

Before fame

His public music career officially kicked off around 2014 while he was a senior studying music education at Auburn University. He formed an acoustic cover duo with a college friend before expanding the project into a full-fledged band.

Trivia

The band's name, The Brook & The Bluff, serves as a direct geographical homage to the two specific Birmingham suburbs where the founding members grew up (Mountain Brook and Bluff Park). He played his very first official live gig at a popular college venue called 1716 in Auburn, Alabama, during his senior year.

Family life

He was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, specifically growing up in the local neighborhood pocket of Bluff Park. His mother originally hails from Monroeville, Alabama, a small southern town that he credits for infusing a subtle, authentic Southern charm into his speaking voice and musical background.
