Country singer whose debut album was Long Black Train in 2003 and who released top ten hits such as "Firecracker," "Your Man," and "All Over Me."
Turner went to the Vanderbilt voice clinic because he developed a lesion on one of his vocal cords. He attended Belmont University and, after graduating, he received a standing ovation while performing at the Grand Ole Opry in 2001.
He is a devout Christian.
He grew up with a brother and a sister. He married Jennifer Ford, the keyboardist and background singer for his shows, on June 14, 2003. Together they have four sons named Hampton, Colby, Marion, and Samuel.
