Mexican American radio host, comedian, voice actor, and producer known as the creator and performer behind the legendary character Don Cheto and for turning the character into a multi-platform entertainment brand spanning radio, television, music, live events, social media, and video games. He is also known as the voice of Don Cheto al Aire, one of the most successful Spanish language morning radio shows in the United States.
Before Fame
He worked behind the scenes in radio production after he moved to the United States and became involved in Spanish language radio and entertainment. His breakthrough came in the early-to-mid 2000s when Don Cheto debuted on Los Angeles Spanish-language radio. He then transitioned the character to television with El Show de Don Cheto on Estrella TV in 2005. He debuted the parody video "Ganga Style" on YouTube in 2012 which helped draw attention to his growing YouTube channel. He released "El Tatuado" in 2016 which went viral and further boosted his online presence.
Trivia
He voiced Don Cheto as himself in Grand Theft Auto V on the in-game radio station East Los FM. He has released multiple comedy and parody music albums under the Don Cheto name including La Crisis and Tueniwan 21.
