Before fame
He developed through the elite U.S. youth wrestling pipeline in Pennsylvania. He competed for Bishop McCort High School. He won gold at the U15 Pan-American Championships in 2023 where he earned first place in freestyle and Greco-Roman competition. He repeated as a U15 Pan-American Champion in 2024 and winning titles in both wrestling styles again. He won a Fargo national championship in 2024 at 94 pounds. He won the U17 World Championship gold medal in 2025 at 45 kg.
