Award-winning author, chef and internet personality who is best known by his self-titled J. Kenji López-Alt YouTube channel where he posts different recipes and dishes. His books The Food Lab and The Wok as well as his children's book Every Night is Pizza Night were all best sellers. He is also a co-host on The Recipe with Kenji and Deb Podcast.

He first discovered his love for food as a young boy growing up. He later began working in the restaurant industry. 

Trivia

Besides food, he also has a love for sports. He went to the 2025 American League Championship Series to see the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners play.
