Namibian kwaito, Afrobeat, and Amapiano singer, rapper, and producer originally known by the name The Dogg before rebranding as King Tee Dee and known for his songs "Can You Feel It," "You," "Oho Penge," "One I Love," "Baby Mama," "Natu Kulukute," and "Monima." He is also known for his multiple award-winning albums including Shimaliw' Osatana, Take Out Yo Gun, You Can't Ignore, This Is My Time, The Power of 7, The Deception, Live or Die, Respect My Hustle, and Concrete Jungle.
Before Fame
He attended Onayena Primary School before he enrolled at Augustineum Secondary School in 1997. He initially pursued a Science degree at the University of Namibia to become a mechanical engineer before he dropped out to focus on music full-time. His big break came in 2003 when he began working on his first album. He released his debut album Shimaliw' Osatana in 2004.
Trivia
He is founder of Mshasho Productions and Mshasho Clothing. He has won the Sanlam-NBC Artist of the Year award four times and set a national record. He was the first celebrity guest on Big Brother Africa 4 in 2009.
Family Life
His real name is Martin Morocky. He was born to Namibian parents living in refugee exile in Zambia. He is the youngest of four siblings. His parents separated when he was a child, and he moved permanently to Onayena to live with his mother.
