Rock musician who was a member of the glam metal band, Winger. He was inspired by such classical composers as Debussy, Ravel, and Stravinsky and was also associated with Alan Parsons and Jordan Rudess.
He and his brothers all played in a band called Blackwood Creek. He co-wrote one of the songs on "Midnite Dynamite," KIX's third album from 1984, which was his big break.
He collaborated with Alice Cooper on two albums after joining Cooper's band in 1985.
His parents were both jazz musicians. His first wife, Beatrice Richter, was killed in a car accident in 1996. He then married Paula DeTullio in 2004 and settled in Tennessee.
He was once romantically involved with Rachel Hunter.
