Before fame

He attended Ardenne High School and developed an interest in music during his teenage years. He originally performed under the name Crazy Kid and began recording music while still young. He worked with producers such as King Jammy's, Steely & Clevie, and Black Scorpio and gaining early experience in the dancehall scene. He initially considered pursuing a more traditional career path and spent time in England studying, but he ultimately chose to focus on music and returned to Jamaica to pursue his career. His first major breakthrough came in 1999 with "Leggo Di Bwo," which was a collaboration that became a number one hit in Jamaica. He released his hit song "Baby Mama Drama" in 2009.

His real name is Marlon Jaro Plunkett. He was born in Linstead, St. Catherine, Jamaica, and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. He is a father.

Associated with

He was mentored by Elephant Man and they collaborated when he wrote the lyrics for "Jook Gal" and appeared on its remix. He collaborated with Keisha White on "My Heart Is a Jail" in 2013 as part of his album Kippo.
