She completed the free drawing course at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in 1968. She then began studying journalism at the University of Sao Paolo, but did not finish.

She has completed comic strips for the magazines Chiclete com Banana, Geraldão, and Circo. She served as a screenwriter for the comedy shows TV Pirata and Sai de Baixo.
Family Life
Her son Rafael is also a cartoonist. She came out as transgender in 2010.
