Before Fame
He studied Urdu, Hindi, and Bengali when he was a young student at the Government Sanskrit College.
Trivia
Some of his well known disciples included Panchanan Bhattacharya and Yukteswar Giri.
Family Life
He married Srimati Kashi Moni in 1846, and they had two sons and three daughters.
Associated With
Yehoshua Bar-Hillel was also a religious disciple.
