Before fame

He is credited as the creator of Tungba Gospel, a worship style that blends Yoruba rhythms with energetic praise and modern gospel structure. He met a promoter named Tunde Olokodana in 1998 who helped him produce and release his debut album Atorise (Reformer) in May 1999.
