Belgian international left back who first joined the senior national side in 2014. He came up playing with the U16-U19 and U21 national clubs.
He started his youth career in 1997 with HO Kalken. He then spent time with Standaard Wetteren before joining Lokeren, where he made his senior debut in 2009.
In 2013, he joined Belgian Pro League power Brugge, where he won the 2014-2015 Belgian Cup.
He has a child named Céril with Joëlle Speltdoorn.
He originally joined the Belgian national team after Vincent Kompany was injured.
