Bestselling American children's author and illustrator known for her imaginative and popular stories, including Do Unto Otters: A Book about Manners, Potato Pants!, and The Scrambled States of America. Before Fame
She received a degree in illustration from the Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. She moved on to work at Hallmark Cards, where she was a greeting card artist for nine years.
