Composer and Argentine folk rock performer. He is sometimes called the Argentine Bob Dylan because of the social and political connotations in his songs. On his Leon Gieco YouTube channel, he has 180,000 subscribers who can see some of his live performances, jam sessions, and music videos. 

Before Fame

When he was 8-years-old he bought a guitar, learned how to play, and started to perform with his dad's band. A couple of bands he played with as he grew up included Nocheros and Los Moscos.

He is from Argentina. His full name is Raúl Alberto Antonio Gieco, His wife is named Alicia Scherman, and they have two daughters, Joana and Liza.
