Leslie Brown

A politician and motivational speaker from the United States. He served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1977 to 1981. From September to November 1993, he also hosted his own talk show, titled The Les Brown Show.

Before Fame

After being terminated from the radio station he was working for at that time, he decided to pursue a political career and successfully ran for election in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Trivia

Following his tenure in the Ohio State Legislature, he made a career transition to television and secured a hosting position on PBS. His fame as a speaker has helped him garner over 550,000 followers on his thelesbrown Instagram page.

He is from Miami, Florida. He was married to Gladys Knight from 1995 to 1997.
