Claudia Lagona, or as she is better known, Levante, is an Italian singer-songwriter who first rose to fame in 2013 for her gold certified debut single "Alfonso." She has since went on to release albums such as Manuale Distruzione, Abbi Cura Di Te and Nel Caos Di Stanze Stupefacenti.

She started writing songs at the age of 14. She eventually signed with INRI in 2013, where she recorded her debut song "Alfonso."
Trivia
In 2017, she became a judge on the eleventh season of Italy's The X Factor. Also a writer, she published her first novel entitled Se Non Ti Vedo Non Esisti in 2017.
Family Life
She was born in Caltagirone, near Catania. Following the loss of her father at the age of 9, she and her family moved to Turin. She has two sisters and one brother. Her mother's name is Rosario Lagona.
