Television executive and producer who is known for her work on the morning program Despierta America on the Univision network. She is also a columnist who is known for writing a weekly section in the Spanish newspapers La Opinion in Los Angeles and El Diario de NY in New York.
She studied communications at Barry University in Miami, Florida where she graduated in 1986. She went on to intern at El Universal de Cartagena in Colombia. She became editor in chief of Cristina the Magazine in 1991 and went on to produce Despierta America in January of 2012.
She is an author who is best known for having written the children's book La Mujer de Mis Suenos. She is also known for having won an Emmy in 2018 for her work on Despierta America.
She was born and raised in Cartagena, Colombia.
