Known best for her work with an all-female Japanese vocal ensemble called Cute, this singer also performed with several other Hello! Project talent groups, including High-King, ZYX, and H.P. All-Stars.

Before Fame

In 2002, she was one of five young singers chosen from an audition pool of nearly 30,000 female vocalists to be a member of the Hello! Project Kids music group.

Trivia

In 2012, she began singing with a vocal group called DIY (Dance in Your Heart).

Family Life

Her cousin, Akari Takeuchi, also performed with a Hello! Project group: S/mileage.

Associated With

She and the acclaimed television actress Yuko Takeuchi both grew up in Japan's Saitama Prefecture.
