Canadian news reporter known for being the co-host of Canada AM. Prior to taking over that role in 2011, she worked as an anchor for the show.
After graduating from Ryerson University with a degree in journalism, she joined CHCH-TV in 1991, a TV station in Hamilton.
She appeared on the children's show Circle Square, which ran from 1974 to 1986, when she was 10-years-old.
She has two children, Dash and Blaize, with her husband Lloyd Exeter. Her father, Joel, was a Trinidadian immigrant to Canada.
Her career in journalism once allowed her the opportunity to interview Bishop Desmond Tutu.
