This South African actor has appeared in several big-budget Hollywood movies, the most well-known being Blood Diamond with Leonardo DiCaprio and Machine Gun Preacher with Gerard Butler. It's this international screen presence that has garnered him 260,000 followers on Instagram.

Before Fame

Mabaso started out in theater, landing his first stage role at 16 in a production of Divide and Rule.

Mabaso describes himself as a "softie," someone in real life who is very unlike the many gangsters and other hard-core characters people see him playing in film and on TV. 

Family Life

He is devoted to his second wife, Fatima Metsileng, with whom he has two kids. The couple also share parenting of two children from Mabaso's first marriage.
