Before fame

She began singing and writing songs as a child and performed at school festivals and sharing early covers online. She began posting covers, short vocal clips, and early demos on Instagram and YouTube around 2020, and gradually built a small audience before releasing her professional music in 2022. Her early career took off with the release of "In This Life" in 2022. She collaborated on and released the hit song "Que Sea Para Siempre" with Tom Z in 2023.

Her full name is María Clara Medina. She was born and raised in Colombia. She dedicated her 2025 song "Simplemente Tú (Mamá - Te Amo)" to her mother.
