Dominican salsa musician, who became known at the beginning of the '90s as the singer of the Haitian compasband Tabou Combo. In 1995 he recorded his first salsa single, "Amigo de Que." He unfolded as the most popular salsa singer of the country, with countless albums and tours across the world. He has over 600,000 subscribers on his eponymous YouTube channel, Michel El Buenon.
Before Fame
He grew up singing in an evangelical church choir with his mother. He started winning singing competitions at school as early as eight years old, and then participating in regional festivals. He moved to Santo Domingo to sing in piano bars, nightclubs, hotels and resorts. He then joined the Tabou Combo band, a group from Puerto Príncipe based in New York City.

While a member of Tabou Combo, he recorded hits like "Inflaciones General," "La Llave," and "Relimen." He has been a solo artist since the 2000's, releasing hits like "No Molestar," "Ese Tipo Soy Yo," and "Soy Como Quise Ser."
