Mike Trudell

About

American journalist who is best known for his sports coverage especially of the Los Angeles Lakers for both ESPN and TWC SportsNet. He is also known for reporting on the Lakers website and for being the co-host of the Thompson and Trudell Show on ESPN LA Radio. 

Before Fame

He graduated from Northwestern University in 2004 from their Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Illinois with a double major in journalism and history. He started appearing on campus television programs and radio shows before he started his career as a reporter for the Timberwolves website. HE then started his NFL commentary in 2008 before earning sideline duties for ESPN LA in 2013. 

Trivia

He is also known for being a full-time member of the teams traveling staff, covering a wide range of games from all over the country. He is also known for his work as a guest analyst on the TWCSN soccer programs. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota and marries his wife Annie. Together they have twin boys named Jett and Talan.
