Politician who is 8th president of Republika Srpska since 2022. His party is the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats. He was also the president from 2010 to 2018. Before Fame

He grew up playing basketball when he was a child. He attended an agricultural high school and the University of Belgrade where he graduated in 1983.

He is a supporter of Vladimir Putin. In 2023, he awarded the Russian President the entity's highest decoration, the Order of the Republika Srpska.

He is from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His parents are Bogoljub and Mira. He is married to Snježana, and they have two children together, Gorica and Igor.

In May 2021, during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, he was thanked by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for expressing his support for Israel.
