Milorad Dodik

Politician known as the eighth president of Republika Srpska. He began serving as the president in 2022. His party is the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats. He grew up playing basketball. He attended an agricultural high school. He went to college at the University of Belgrade, where he graduated in 1983.

He is a supporter of Vladimir Putin. In 2023, he awarded the Russian President the entity's highest decoration, the Order of the Republika Srpska.

He is from Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His parents are Bogoljub and Mira. He is married to Snježana, and they have two children together, Gorica and Igor.
