Pop singer, songwriter, and producer known for blending classical influences with modern pop production along with her songs including "Hold the Applause," "Break Season," "Girl I Used to Be," "Expiration Date," "Flowers," "So Bad," and the collaborative song "Blueberry Pancakes."

Before fame

She started classical piano lessons as a child and began competing in piano competitions at an early age. She taught herself recording and music production in high school and started writing songs to help friends through personal challenges. She went on to study Performing Arts Technology / sound technology at the University of Michigan and earned a BFA and minored in business. She co-founded a band while at the University of Michigan. She released her first significant single "Hold the Applause" in 2022.

Trivia

She also writes and produces for other artists and in 2024 signed a worldwide publishing deal with Spirit Music Group in partnership with Grammy-winning songwriter Autumn Rowe. Her 2022 breakout song "Hold the Applause" began as a 20-minute TikTok songwriting challenge using three random words which went viral.

Family life

She grew up in the Detroit area of Michigan where her parents encouraged her classical piano training and early competitions.

She appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon during the "Battle of the Instant Songwriters" segment in November 2025. She collaborated with Ellee Duke on the songs "Something Beyond Love!" and "fragile."
