Pop-rock singer-songwriter who performs in Italian and in Spanish. He rose to international fame in 1997 with his hit song "Laura No Está." He has gone on to release acclaimed, multiplatinum albums like 1998's Entre Tú y Yo and 2002's Las Cosas que Defenderé. 

Before Fame

He grew up playing a variety of instruments, including bass, drums and guitar. He was heavily influenced by artists like Sting and John Denver. In the late 1980s, he performed with a band called White Lady before becoming a solo artist. 


He's released more than 13 studio albums throughout his career. The electronica group Eiffel 65 released a remix of his song "La Vida Es" in 2000. 

Family Life

His real name is Filippo Neviani. He was born in Sassuolo, Modena. He married his former assistant Patrizia Vacondio in 2006. Their daughter Beatrice Maria was born in 2010.

Associated With

He collaborated with Laura Pausini on the song "Tan Solo Tú" in 2002. In 2008, he recorded a duet with Craig David on his most famous hit, "Walking Away."
