Stage actor, TV actor, and performer known for his work on both the stage and screen, and known for his work in the stage performances of Pirates! The Penzance Musical. She Loves Me, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood, along with his work in the TV shows How to Make It in America and Bull.

Before Fame

He made his Broadway debut in the 2009 revival of West Side Story when he was 10 years old. He continued to build his Broadway career, and in 2012 he starred in the revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. His breakout role came in 2016 when he played Arpad Laszlo in the Broadway revival of She Loves Me.

Trivia

His performance in She Loves Me earned him several awards including the Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theatre and nominations for both the Drama Desk Award and the Outer Critics Circle Award. He provided the singing voice for the character Austin in Season 4 of the animated series The Backyardigans. He plays the piano.

Family Life

He is the grandson of Norman Barasch, a notable figure in the entertainment industry.

Associated With

His first Broadway role was in West Side Story, which originally featured Natalie Wood, George Chakiris, and Richard Beymer in the 1961 film adaptation.
