South African actor and singer best known for his recurring role as university lecturer Sakhile on the SABC1 soap opera Skeem Saam. He's also a seasoned musical theater performer having appeared in shows like The Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Dream Girls and as Simba in the UK/Ireland touring production of The Lion King. 

Before Fame

He studied Musical Theater at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria. 

Trivia

He played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, becoming only the second black actor to do so. 

Family Life

He grew up in rural Mpumalanga and was not exposed to musical theater until arriving at college.

He finished third in the BET acting competition series Top Actor Africa - actress and reality star Uriel Ngozi Oputa was also a former contestant.
