Notable as the bassist of the glam metal group Stala & SO, this Finnish musician rose to fame for his work with the rock group Lordi. Born Niko Hurme, he is best known by the stage names of Nick Gore and Kalma.
After joining Lordi in 2002 as a replacement for the band's previous bassist, Magnum, he contributed to the group's second album, Monsterican Dream.
He co-wrote the Lordi single "Kalmageddon."
He was born and raised in Karkkila, Finland.
He and Tomi Putaansuu (a.k.a. "Mr. Lordi") were both members of the hard rock band Lordi.
