Before Fame
She was born to Igbo parents Leo and Bridget Egbujiobi, both of whom immigrated from Nigeria to the U.S. in 1979. She earned a degree in English language and literature from the University of Michigan before going on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2012.
Trivia
During her college years, she served as a university correspondent for CNN. She launched a wine brand called Bido Wines, named after an Igbo phrase that means "to begin." Her dating app, Hello Africa, received the Africa Royalty Award for Best Indigenous Mobile Application of the Year in 2021.
Family Life
She married Nigerian American physician Ikenna Ihim in 2021. They welcomed their first child together, a son named Noah, in May 2025.
