Comic artist also known as Ginger Haze, who is known for his creation of the fantasy comic Nimona and for his work on the Lumberjanes comic series. In 2015, he won the Eisner Awards for Best New Series and Best Publication for Teens for his work on Lumberjanes.

Before Fame

He first gained acclaim for his renderings of famous characters from the Lord of the Rings series as hipsters. He created images and dialogue for each major character.

Trivia

In 2015, he was hired by Marvel as a writer for the Thor Annual and Runaways comics. He also began as a writer for the Disney animated series Wander Over Yonder that same year.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He and fellow cartoonist Molly Ostertag wed in September 2019.
