Grammy Award-winning composer of classical music. His works included his first opera "Ainadamar" from 2003, "Ayre" from 2004, "Azul" from 2006, and "The Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind" from 1994.

Before Fame

He moved to Israel to study at the Jerusalem Rubin Academy in 1983. One of his teachers was the famed Mark Kopytman.

Family Life

He was born into a Jewish family who raised him in La Plata, Argentina. His father was a physician and his mother was a piano teacher. He married architect Neri Oxman in 2011.
