Austrian professional soccer player best known for playing as a goalkeeper for the Danish Superliga club Brøndby after signing a four-year contract with the club in 2024. He previously played for clubs including Austria Wien, France's Reims, and Germany's Bayer Leverkusen. He has also represented Austria on a national level at the U17, U18, U21, and senior levels. He made his senior national team debut in a friendly match against Scotland in March 2022.
Before Fame
He launched his youth career in 2003 playing for SV Burmoos before transitioning to Red Bull Salzburg in 2006. He went on to make his senior debut with Austria Wien in a 3-0 win over Sturm Graz in 2016.
Trivia

His father, Werner Pentz, was also a celebrated soccer goalkeeper and went on to become the goalkeeping coach for Austria's U16 team.
