About

Actor who commenced his journey to stardom when he began portraying the role of Rishikesh Sikarwar opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the television serial Yudh in 2014. He then went on to play memorable roles in films such as Ittefaq, The Other Way, and Kalank, as well as perhaps his most career-establishing film, Thappad, in which he played the role of Vikram Sabharwal. 

Before Fame

Before making his professional performing debut, he studied acting under mentor and retired Bollywood star Naseeruddin Shah, and dancing from the legendary Hindi cinema choreographer Shiamak Davar. He inaugurated his career in the entertainment industry when he was employed as an assistant casting director for the 2010 social drama film My Name is Khan. He made his 1st on-screen appearance later that same year, playing the role of Abhimanyu Jaiswal in the film Hide & Seek. 

Trivia

He won a Digital Dash Award for his performance in the 2018 short film The Other Way. In 2020, he was named #19 on The Times Most Desirable Man List. 

Family Life

He is the son of radio station producer Anju Gulati and retired SBI employee and filmmaker Kanwar Deepak Gulati. He has an older brother named Kanwar Suhail Gulati.

Associated With

He starred in the 2021 music video for the song "Naa Dooja Koi" by singer-songwriter and composer, Arko Pravo Mukherjee. He played the character Angad Roshan in the Amazon Prime original series Made in Heaven, along with co-stars Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki Koechlin, and Jim Sarbh.
