Before fame
She was born as the runt of an accidental litter and was the last puppy left unadopted due to her unusual appearance. She was adopted by Holly Middleton when she was around six months old. She was entered just for fun into a national contest searching for Britain's Ugliest Dog in 2023 and ended up winning the title. Her winning the contest led to her first media appearances including being invited onto ITV's This Morning and BBC Breakfast and also led to her starting her Instagram presence. She made her film debut as Dogpool in Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024.
Trivia
She is a cross between a Pug and a Chinese Crested. Her first book Doggy Positivity: Life Lessons from Britain's Ugliest Dog was published by HarperNorth - HarperCollins in October 2025. She won both the Comedy Canine Award and the BFI Best in World Award at the 2025 Fidos Awards for her role in Deadpool & Wolverine.
