Before Fame

He graduated from the State University of New York's Purchase College with a degree in music. His Purchase classmates included fellow songwriters Regina Spektor and Langhorne Slim.

Trivia

He wrote and produced such Jonas Brothers hits as "Can't Have You" and "Time for Me to Fly."

Family Life

He was born in Bronxville, New York and raised in Ramsey, New Jersey. He later moved to Los Angeles, California, where he established a recording studio in the North Hollywood Arts District.
