Brazilian race car driver known for rising through the European single-seater ladder as a member of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy, for winning the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, and for competing at the top level of junior racing in FIA Formula 3.

Before Fame

He began karting at a young age. He was competing in the United States and Europe by the mid-2010s and gained attention through strong performances in the SKUSA Super Master Series and other elite karting events. His breakout year in karting came in 2021 when he won the WSK Champions Cup and WSK Super Master Cup, along with victories in the Champions of the Future European series. He was then selected for the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2021. He transitioned to single-seater racing in 2022 and competed across multiple Formula 4 championships.

Trivia

He is the third Brazilian driver to join the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy following Enzo Fittipaldi and Gianluca Petecof.

His full name is Rafael Chaves Câmara. He was born and raised in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil.
