Film composer best known for his work on the long-running sitcom Boy Meets World and it's companion series Girl Meets World. He has also composed for a number of other series including Promised Land, Dinosaurs, and The Facts of Life.
Before he began working in film composition, he was a session musician and A&R representative for Columbia Records.
Early in his career, he became the first music director for the legendary Los Angeles improv and theatre group The Groundlings.
He passed away from pancreatic cancer in February of 2016. He left behind his wife of 33 years Madeleine and their son Alex.
In 1974, he played keyboards for Lou Reed's live album Rock n Roll Animal.
