Professional wrestler known for his work in WWE's NXT brand and for previously competing in All Elite Wrestling under the name Ricky Starks. He competed in Game Changer Wrestling and House of Glory after leaving AEW in late 2024. He made his WWE debut in February 2025 in an episode of NXT.
Before fame
He developed an early interest in professional wrestling and pursued it seriously as a young adult. He trained under Mr. Mexico II and made his professional wrestling debut in 2012. He competed across the independent wrestling circuit. His first major national exposure came when he debuted for the National Wrestling Alliance at the NWA 70th Anniversary Show in October 2018. His breakout moment followed on in January 2020 at the NWA Hard Times event, where he defeated Eddie Kingston, Matt Cross, Tim Storm, and Trevor Murdoch in a tournament final to become the first NWA World Television Champion of the modern era. He won the FTW Championship in July 2021. He won the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament in 2022.
Trivia
He became the inaugural revived NWA World Television Champion in 2020. He has appeared in film and television projects outside of wrestling including the short film "A Grievance with Gravity" and the TV series Wild Cards. He considers Dwayne Johnson and Shawn Michaels to be major influences on his style.
Family life
His real name is Richard Starks. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was raised primarily by a single mother alongside his siblings.

He faced Cody Rhodes in his AEW debut match in June 2020. He defeated Ethan Page in the 2022 AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament final.
