Before Fame

He was born Eddie Moore, but he is professionally known by the moniker Eddie Kingston. He grew up in a tougher neighborhood in Yonkers and would often get into fights. He credits becoming a fan of wrestling as what kept him out of trouble and/or jail as a kid. When he debuted in 2002 he was named CBS Sports's Rookie of the Year.

He holds multiple awards within the community, including All American Wrestling Heavyweight Champion for both 2014 and 2015 and World Star Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion in 2010. Family Life

His dad died in 2021. He has a Boston Terrier named Chico.
