Before Fame
His youth career first began in 2009 when he joined the youth club Pachuca. In 2014, he moved up to the clubs first team. His first appearance for Mexico's national team was in 2015 on their Under 20 squad. In 2016, he officially joined Mexico's national team.

He has won several awards and individual honors for his playing including the Eredivisie Player of the Month award in August of 2017 and the Golden Boot award in 2015 at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
